The founder has over twenty years of experience working with both small and large facilities in a wide range of industries in various states. The firm was founded based on air quality expertise with a strong emphasis in multi-media compliance. HERA has the knowledge and experience you need at competitive rates. As a small business, HERA has the flexibility to provide customized solutions for each client.
Tri is the Founder and Principal of HERA Environmental. She has been in the environmental consulting business for over 20 years, specializing in the field of air quality. She has extensive experience in the development of permitting strategies, compliance programs, and recordkeeping systems. She has represented numerous clients at regulatory meetings typically focused on permitting and dispute resolution with excellent outcomes.
Tri holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and is fluent in five languages.

Eric is a Principal with HERA Environmental focusing on government relations and environmental strategy. In representing the interests of his clients, Eric draws on 30 years of experience with the Georgia EPD (the last 13 served as Manager of the Air Permitting Program). During his tenure at the EPD, he managed a staff of over 40 engineers, set critical regulatory/ implementation policy, developed GA Air Quality Rules, conducted public hearings on permit applications, and served as the EPD’s liaison to GA Economic Development. With Eric’s background, he is ideal to help companies navigate the intricacies of federal, state and local government environmental regulations.
Eric holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Kirk is a Principal with HERA Environmental. Prior to HERA, he was the VOC Permitting Manager at the Georgia EPD Air Protection Branch. He also has over 20 years of experience in environmental consulting focusing on Air Permitting and Compliance. With Kirk’s diverse background in both private and government sectors, he is uniquely qualified to provide clients with creative and sustainable solutions in the everchanging world of environmental regulations.
Kirk holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.

James is a Principal with HERA Environmental. James has 30 years of experience with the Georgia EPD (the last 6 served as Manager of NOx Permitting Unit and 20 years prior as Manager of the VOC & Combustion Compliance Unit). During his tenure at EPD, his guidance was valued by some of the nation’s leading industries as well as small operations seeking thoughtful insight regarding complex regulations. With James’ background, he is ideal to help companies navigate the intricacies of federal, state and local government environmental regulations.
James holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
